This spring, the roof on the church parsonage was replaced. The existing roof was over 40 years old and had begun to deteriorate, with broken shingles falling into the gutters and visible signs of wear.
At a congregational meeting on March 2nd, 2025, the decision was made to move forward with the replacement in preparation for installing solar panels. These panels will help offset the cost of the new electric heating systems that were provided to the church through Mass Save and the Cape Light Compact.
The work was completed by Associate Roofing, and we are grateful for their professionalism throughout the process. The solar panels are now staged on the church property and ready for installation in the coming weeks.
This project is one of several recent improvements to the church’s buildings and infrastructure and reflects the congregation’s continued commitment to caring for and maintaining our property with an eye toward the future.
