The rain held off for the 6am sunrise service, though Menemsha was shrouded in a misty fog. At 9am Rev. Stoddard preached on Jesus’ words to Mary at the tomb: “Do not be afraid,” reminding us that God is always with us. Jesus (Emmanuel) means “God is with us.”
