You are invited to join us for Second Sunday in Lent February 25th at 9:00am, in person or Zoom. Rev. Charlotte is healthy again and will be leading worship along with our Music Minister Sean McMahon. The theme will be Separation Anxiety based on Psalm 22:23-31 and Romans 8:31-39. With School vacation week there will be no Sunday School. Masks optional, worship order attached and Zoom link at bottom of page. Picture from last Sunday with Sean wearing many hats!
SAINTLY SUPPER Tuesday evenings during Lent! Meet some saints, enjoy music and good food plus wonderful company. Starts sharp at 5:30. Music and lessons led by Sean McMahon. Free and open to all.
Mardi Gras Tuesday February 27th Feast on Cajun/Creole cuisine as we celebrate Mardi Gras with St. Joan of Arc, the woman-warrior patron saint of New Orleans. Menu: Gumbo (Mo’s Lunch!), jasmine rice, vegetable soup, greens and special King Cake Cupcakes with special prizes.

FROM REV. VICKY HANJIAN: Dementia Friends Workshop
First Congregational Church of West Tisbury will sponsor a free Dementia Friends Workshop at noon on March 4, 2024 at the church. The workshop is designed to help people be more comfortable with folks who have a form of dementia and to help remove the stigma associated with dementia. Bring a bag lunch. Dessert and beverage will be provided. Mary Holmes, Supervisor of the Supportive Day Program and the MV Center for Living, will present the 1 hour workshop. As our island community ages, it is inevitable that we will know of someone, friend or family member, who is experiencing the changes that come with some form of dementia.
