Jesus said “ I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate to be with you forever.

You know him, because he abides with you, and he will be in you.

Confession (unison) Cathy S. Walters
O mighty God, our hearts are troubled and our minds are in confusion. We have separated ourselves from your peace by attempting to shape our own path in the forest of life. But we have found that path to be lonely. We have stumbled and fallen and with humility we cry to you. Hear us once again.
Silent prayer
Thank you God, for allowing us yet another chance to walk the true path where the light is good and the friendship is warm. By your grace our guide awaits us. O mighty God, we remember our lonely path and we rejoice in your mercy. AMEN

Unison Prayer Cyril C. Colonius
Dear God, you are the author and source of our lives. You spread before us many pathways in this world of wilderness, and we are free to choose our own path. In our process of choosing , Great Spirit, lend us guidance. In our moments of despair, encourage us. In our moments of failure, empower us with strength to try again. In our moments of victory, teach us humility. Send us your loving spirit, that we may be agents of care and concern. Open our ears that we may hear each other. Warm our hearts that we may care for one another and enlighten our minds that we may be about the tasks you set before us. Amen
