  • The Bell Repair is Done!

    Thanks to Bob Hungerford for his craftsmanship, knowledge, hot, sweaty work and good humor.  He has completed the restoration of the bell.   • July Bell Work

    It was 85o and very tight quarters up in the steeple.

  • June 6 Bell Update

    Bob has scraped and painted the cast iron carriage in the steeple.  Next he’ll replace the wooden wheel for the rope.

  • May 1 Steeple Repair Finished

    It’s rained and blown and we are leak free!  Work came in as estimated at $3800. Bell Repairs will begin any day.

    The project started when the leaks were persistent and the pans catching the water were insufficient in number and depth! The first inspections and recommendations were done by Charlie Shipway in June. Ann McGhee painted it’s portrait in September. Roy Riley did a temporary patch in November and will begin roof repairs in late December.…
