THIS SUNDAY WORSHIP 

You are invited to join us for First Sunday in Lent February 18th at 9:00am, in person or Zoom. Unfortunately Rev. Charlotte has tested positive for Covid so Sean McMahon will be leading worship and songs. The theme will be From Baptism to Wilderness based on Psalm 25:1-10 and Mark 1:9-15.  Sean will be bringing us some very special music! Sunday School for children. Public Health UpdateWith increasing cases of cold and flu, RSV, and COVID-19 variants, we want to remind everyone that Chilmark Church is a mask-friendly environment, and good hand hygiene is always encouraged. If you’re feeling symptoms, it’s possible you could have something you could inadvertently pass on to someone else. So please stay home and worship with us online via Zoom. So by taking care of ourselves, we take care of each other!Masks and hand sanitizer are available in the church alcove.

SAINTLY SUPPER Tuesday evenings during Lent! Meet some saints, enjoy music and good food plus wonderful company. Starts sharp at 5:30. Music and lessons led by Sean McMahon. Free and open to all. Because of illnesses and off island visits we have moved Mardi Gras Saintly Supper to February 27th! Sorry for all the scheduling changes.

Mardi Gras moved to Tuesday February 27th Feast on Cajun/Creole cuisine as we celebrate Mardi Gras with St. Joan of Arc, the woman-warrior patron saint of New Orleans. Menu: Gumbo (Mo’s Lunch!), jasmine rice, vegetable soup, greens and special King Cake Cupcakes with special prizes.

March 12th Irish fare and flair with St. Patrick, foe of snakes and patron saint of Ireland

March 26th  Portuguese Fisherman’s stew with St. Peter, patron saint of fishermen, and St. Anthony of Padua, patron saint of Portugal and the lost and found bin
