SUNDAY MORNING WORSHIP
Come join us for the Third Sunday after Epiphany January 26th at 9:00am, in person or Zoom. Rev. Janet Stoddard will lead worship and Sean McMahon, Music Minister, will be offering his music this Sunday. The message will be “We are the Body of Christ” based on 1 Corinthians 12:12-31 and Luke 4:14-21. Worship order attached. Sunday School, Zoom link below.

SEARCH AND CALL THIS WEEKEND JANUARY 25-26
The Search Committee (Pam Goff, Sarah Carr, Kathie Carroll, Sam Hart, Ann Noyes) is pleased to announce the selection of a candidate for Minister for our church (see letter attached). The search committee urges you to come to a casual supper on Saturday January 25th at 5pm to meet Rev. Janet Stoddard, the candidate we’re proposing for our new pastor. Ann Noyes is cooking up ham and we ask for salads and desserts from anyone who has time or will. All welcome, friends, members, guests and children! Rev. Stoddard will lead 9am worship on January 26th after which there will be a members only vote whether to confirm her selection. As members you can vote in person or via zoom. Use the Zoom link below for both worship and meeting. In accordance with the church’s bylaws, a 3/4 majority vote is necessary to confirm the candidate. The search committee thanks you in advance for your participation.
Kairos Bible Study resumes!

FEBRUARY OFFERING OF MUSIC AND LIGHT
Sunday February 2 at 5pm. Island artists and musicians join together to brighten the darker days of winter. Mark Lovewell and Molly Conole, Sean McMahon, Georgia Halliday, Adele Dreyer, Violet Southwick, Daniel Waters, Loon Lane Players, storytellers, poets and other guests. Music, Candle Lighting, Reception, Free, All are Welcome! Help needed with baking and finger food reception. Claire will make soup! Pictures: Mark and Molly, Violet, and Dan.
CAPE LIGHT COMPACT PROGRESS
We are near completion of the conversion to heat pumps! HVAC (High Performance) started before Thanksgiving on the Parsonage and is finishing Church and Hall now. Parsonage has been running the new system for a couple of weeks and your pastor is very pleased. Insulation has been done for all 3 buildings with spray foam and a new vapor barrier in basements to “tighten the envelope”. Electric was all upgraded with new panels. When they are finished with the installation I will schedule a session with Everett and those interested to walk through our new system of heating and cooling.
