SUNDAY MORNING WORSHIP
You are invited to join us for the Sixth Sunday after Pentecost June 30th at 9:00am, in person or Zoom. Rev. Charlotte will be leading worship with Sean McMahon, Music Minister. Sermon is titled “Healing Stories” from Mark 5:21-43 where Jesus is approached twice for a healing touch. The Chilmark Church Choir will be singing for the first time! Worship order attached. Sunday School is available. Zoom link below.
On Thursday July 18th at 1pm the church will be hosting a memorial service and reception for Carol Loud, a long time islander and church musician, who passed away last year. Phil Dietterich, our favorite organist, is forming a choir for the occasion and would like to rehearse at 2pm on Sunday July 7th and July 14th. Drop in and all are welcome to participate.

LOBSTER ROLLS – FIRST NIGHT SUCCESS!
The church was abuzz all day Tuesday with squeezing and prepping in the morning, and packaging and sales in the afternoon. The church also had a new kitchen refrigerator delivered in the middle of the busyness! The word is out that Chilmark Church has the best lobster rolls around. Final total sold from Tuesday evening and Wednesday lunch at the Flea was 289 – up from 157 last year.
SUNDAY SCHOOL ASSISTANCE
As the church’s Sunday School continues to grow Claire Ganz (Superintendent/Lead teacher) would like to create a team of helpers to assist when needed. Currently Claire and Andy Carr, assistant, are teaching every Sunday with up to 9 children. We would like to ask those who would be willing to sign up as Lead Teacher or Assistant occasionally to contact Claire either in person or cganz@live.com. Lesson curriculum/activity instructions will be supplied. Please let Claire know what dates you would be available. Also, at the end of summer when Andy leaves for college we will be looking for an Assistant Teacher for the Sunday morning classroom. This is a paid position. Please pass on any names or suggestions.
EAGLE SCOUT AWARD
Andy Carr earned his rank of Eagle Scout this week after years of hard work, learning and service. The Eagle Scout rank is the highest advancement rank in scouting and requires fulfillment in the areas of leadership, service and outdoor skills. Only about 5% of all scouts achieve this rank!
