The Celebration for the church and our invited guests was last Sunday, September 15th<\/sup>. What a beautiful day! We shared our stories of resilience, courage and faithfulness – past, present and future – with food, music and community. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The church has worked hard over the past 2 years, so it is now time to celebrate that journey together.  Though we are a small church on an island this “New Old Church” has a wonderful story to share of hope, strength, light and resistance – church doors are always open for welcoming in and for going out in Christ’s service. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Music by Sean McMahon and food by Quitsa Cuisine (Theresa Manning). Thank you to party planners Julie Flanders, Kathy Teel and Charlotte Wright; desserts by Judy Mayhew, Emily Broderick, Sarah Carr and Salt Rock Chocolates; kitchen crew and clean up: Brian Kennedy, Teresa Temple and Kathie Carroll; table flowers by Annie Rudner; and all those that contributed to the day of celebration and being together.
