Opening Reception will be Sunday May 5th 4-6pm. The piece name is Sunday Morning Patchwork from Menemsha Crossroad and signed by Claire, Andy, Valentina, Georgiana, Clayton, Alexander, Callum, Jude, Tasher and Isla. The piece’s medium is recycled glass vase, tissue paper, glue, food coloring and ink and will be displayed with a bouquet of fresh Chilmark flowers. Pizza Night at the church is an informal meal where the community at large can gather for camaraderie and food. It starts at 6pm with pizza, potluck salads and desserts, and is followed by Bananagrams for those who want a game. It\u2019s free and all are welcome. Set up and clean-up help appreciated. Janet and Tom will be preparing our last Spring meal on Tuesday May 28th – a Pasta Feast!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n SUMMER Fun- RAISERS STARTING<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The Chilmark Flea Market<\/strong>\u00a0will be starting on Saturday June 22 and will run Wednesday and Saturdays 9am-2pm until after Labor Day. Several positions are still open: Parking Lot assistant for Wednesdays 9:30-1:30\u00a0@ $15 per hour. This is ideal for a younger person who likes to be outside, run around, and tell people where to go. Also The Flea needs Certified Traffic Flaggers for Wed and Sat 9:30-1:30 shifts. This is the North Road traffic detail that manages street flow. It pays $40\/hour, requires age over 18 and certification (on-line MA course) which the church will reimburse. This MA Flagger certification is good for two years.
