Understanding Discernment.”<\/a>\u00a0\u00a0Sometimes it is difficult to hear the voice of the Spirit. Through contemplation, this workshop will help you\u00a0see,<\/strong>\u00a0hear and feel ‘signs’ that speak to our inner selves<\/strong>\u00a0and learn to recognize who is speaking, whether our own ego or\u00a0the \u201cvoice\u201d of God.<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0If you are\u00a0struggling with spiritual “hard of hearing,”\u00a0<\/strong>we encourage you to take an extended lunch and join us for this 2 hour online event.<\/p>\n

If you are looking for a\u00a0more personal deep dive into discernment<\/strong>, we invite you to join us for a three-part ONLINE workshop this fall to consider the questions involved with\u00a0what we are being called to do<\/strong>\u00a0and to be.<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0“Discerning: Responding through our Vital Connections”\u00a0<\/a>will meet Thursday evenings, October 7, October 14, and November 4 from 6:30-8:30 pm. \u00a0 Each session will address one of the vital connections involved that\u00a0allow us to discern and respond to life’s questions<\/strong>\u00a0and connect us in our personal discovery. \u00a0This series also introduces our “Rolling Ridge way” of\u00a0living a contemplative life and being present to the Divine\u00a0<\/strong>gift within and without. It’s all about being present to our connections.<\/p>\n

Our connections are rooted in the spiritual life, and as Sister Joan Chittister will address\u00a0THIS SUNDAY, July 18th<\/strong>, the\u00a0“Spiritual Life: It’s all about relationships.”\u00a0<\/a>\u00a0There is\u00a0still time to register for this LIVE hybrid event\u00a0<\/strong>from 2:00 to 4:30 pm with optional dinner and fellowship. \u00a0A Benedictine sister and one of the most influential religious and social leaders of our time, Sister Joan will be offering a light to guide us through this time of contradictory values and upheavals in every major institution and within the hearts of people. \u00a0Join us ONSITE at Rolling Ridge<\/strong>\u00a0and watch the livestream in community, and enjoy small group discussion, private reflection, and optional\u00a0dinner afterwards.<\/strong>\u00a0If you are not able to join us in-person, you are invited to\u00a0watch the presentation ONLINE at home\u00a0<\/strong>followed by small group sharing with our online Ridge community.\u00a0Registration closes Friday at 2pm<\/a>.<\/p>\n
