It is a time\u00a0of self-\u00a0examination, self-\u00a0denial, penitence and\u00a0forgiveness in preparation for the renewal of the\u00a0Easter Season. It is the time when we redouble our\u00a0efforts, with the help of the Holy Spirit, to draw closer\u00a0to God in Christ Jesus.<\/div>\n<div data-canvas-width=\"568.656\">Here at Chilmark Church, apart from our Sunday Worship, we encourage you to\u00a0join in daily prayers for the many personal and other social issues of our time.\u00a0We have circulated a prayer chart and some written prayers that you may use.\u00a0Apart\u00a0from those we are circulating a virtual\u00a0Taize\u00a0Wednesday recorded<\/div>\n<div data-canvas-width=\"502.75199999999995\">devotional and a series of reflections done from the Council of Bishops\u00a0on\u00a0racial\u00a0justice.\u00a0Please remember that\u00a0times\u00a0set aside for\u00a0prayer, meditation\/reflection\u00a0and worship\u00a0are\u00a0Sabbath Time.\u00a0\u00a0\u201c\u00a0Sabbathing\u00a0\u201d\u00a0is\u00a0the\u00a0deliberate\u00a0scheduling and spending time with\u00a0God.\u00a0I encourage you to make this\u00a0Lenten Season a<\/div>\n<div>\u2018\u00a0holy time\u00a0\u2019\u00a0of\u00a0spiritually journeying\u00a0in faith.<\/div>\n<div data-canvas-width=\"556.8000000000001\">Thanks for worshiping with us today.
