Dear Friends in Christ,<\/span><\/p>\n

I believe most of us know the song , entitled : \u201cWhat a Wonderful World?\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

It says: \u00a0 <\/span>\u201cI see trees of green, red roses too . \u00a0 <\/span>I see them bloom, for me and for you.<\/span><\/p>\n

And I think to myself, what a wonderful world.<\/span><\/p>\n

I see skies of blue, and clouds of whi te .\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The bright blessed day, and the dark sacred night.<\/span><\/p>\n

And I think to myself, what a wonderful world .<\/span><\/p>\n

I hear babies crying, I watch them grow, they\u2019ll learn much more, than I\u2019ll ever know.<\/span><\/p>\n

And I think to myself, what a wonderful world .\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Yes, I think to my self, what a wonderful world. \u201d (Louis Armstrong)<\/span><\/p>\n

For me this song expresses an \u201cattitude of gratitude.\u201d The song is hopeful and optimistic.\u00a0 <\/span>The author found <\/span><\/p>\n

joy, life and love in the green trees, the red roses, the blue skies, and even the dark sacred ni ghts.\u00a0 <\/span>What <\/span><\/p>\n

brings joy, love , blessing and thankfulness to you? What are the things for which you are grateful? Are you <\/span><\/p>\n

thankful for blue skies, red roses and dark sacred nights? Are you thankful for a home, for love d ones,\u00a0 <\/span>for\u00a0 <\/span>live ,<\/span><\/p>\n

health and strength ?\u00a0 <\/span>I am sure we all\u00a0 <\/span>have many things for which we are thankful ! What and who\u00a0 <\/span>will you\u00a0 <\/span>giv e <\/span><\/p>\n

thank s for\u00a0 <\/span>this thanksgiving ? Kindly\u00a0 <\/span>remember your f athers and m others who migrated to these parts and <\/span><\/p>\n

create a place where we\u00a0 <\/span>are able to live, work and worship\u00a0 <\/span>in freedom. <\/span><\/p>\n

Let us\u00a0 <\/span>not\u00a0 <\/span>forget\u00a0 <\/span>the many families who have lost love d ones to COVID 19. Let us remember those who are, in <\/span><\/p>\n

one way\u00a0 <\/span>or the other, are\u00a0 <\/span>suffering because of the pandemic . Let us remembe r\u00a0 <\/span>the many caregivers in o ur <\/span><\/p>\n

hospitals and nursing homes who are over worked and over stressed in caring for the sick and\u00a0 <\/span>dying.\u00a0 <\/span>Please<\/span><\/p>\n

remember to say\u00a0 <\/span>a special prayer for them all.<\/span><\/p>\n

We give God thanks for who we are and what we have, remembering that all comes from God:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cAll\u00a0 <\/span>are Thine; no gift have we, Lord of all gifts, to offer Thee: and hence , with grateful hearts today, <\/span><\/p>\n

Thanksgiving Words and Prayer <\/span><\/p>\n

Words before the Prayer<\/span><\/p>\n

We live in a land rich in harvest.<\/span><\/p>\n

Yet, many have no bread.<\/span><\/p>\n

We choose our clothes from many changes.<\/span><\/p>\n

Yet, many cannot afford our rummage sales.<\/span><\/p>\n

We live in comfortable houses.<\/span><\/p>\n

Yet, many have no place to call home.<\/span><\/p>\n

We have work that feeds mind and body.<\/span><\/p>\n

Yet, many have jobs that feed neither mind or body<\/span><\/p>\n

Lord,\u00a0 <\/span>we have been richly blessed.<\/span><\/p>\n

Let us Prayer<\/span><\/p>\n

Lord, we remember that to those who <\/span><\/p>\n

much is given, much is expected. <\/span><\/p>\n

We give you praise and thanksgiving for <\/span><\/p>\n

all the blessings of this life: for food, for <\/span><\/p>\n

family, for friends and for love d ones.<\/span><\/p>\n

On this Thanksgiving Day, bless all our<\/span><\/p>\n

relationships and keep us health and safe <\/span><\/p>\n

from all illnesses especially during this<\/span><\/p>\n
