{"id":2048,"date":"2011-02-20T11:48:08","date_gmt":"2011-02-20T16:48:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/chilmarkchurch.org\/service\/?p=2048"},"modified":"2011-02-20T11:48:08","modified_gmt":"2011-02-20T16:48:08","slug":"prayers-from-february-20-2011","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/chilmarkchurch.org\/service\/index.php\/2011\/02\/prayers-from-february-20-2011\/","title":{"rendered":"Prayers from February 20, 2011"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em><strong>Epiphany Seven<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>O God of eternal light, we come into your presence because you have illumined the paths of our searching.\u00a0 Accept us and meet us now, as faithful yet still seeking sojourners who must, this day, find sustenance for our journey.\u00a0 Lead us into a fuller recognition of your Spirit which forever goes before us, leading us into the possibility of making real your reign on earth.<\/p>\n<p>We come to this time of prayer with thanksgiving in our hearts and with praise on our lips.\u00a0 We rejoice for you have made us glad.\u00a0 We thank you for our mountain top times.\u00a0 Holy one deliver us from all the fear that comes when transformation is at hand.\u00a0 All forgiving God, we pray for all the peoples, nations and races of the world; we pray for those who govern and have authority over us; we pray for justice and for peace; we pray for our community, our friends and our families.
