We asked Ann for her recipe after Tues night’s soup supper.\u00a0 It was so good.<\/p>\n

PUMPKIN APPLE SOUP <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\n

1 Tbsp. oil <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

1 med.onion, finely chopped <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

3 Granny Smith or tart apples, peeled and sliced<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

4 cups Libby\u2019s complete pumpkin pie mix with seasonings,<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

(not plain canned pumpkin)<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00bd tsp. mace<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

6 cups chicken broth<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\n

Cook onion in oil until wilted. Add apples; cover and cook until tender. Stir in pumpkin pie mix, mace and chicken broth.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Cook for ten minutes, stirring to blend.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
