Bodge preached on the 23rd psalm with many insights and versions.\u00a0 Here is one version that was very original.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The Lord is my Pace-setter, I shall not rush;<\/p>\n<p>He makes me stop and rest for quiet intervals.<\/p>\n<p>He provides me with images of stillness, which restore my serenity;<\/p>\n<p>He leads me in the ways of efficiency through calmness of mind,<\/p>\n<p>And his guidance is peace.<\/p>\n<p>Even thought I have a great many things to accomplish each day,<\/p>\n<p>I will not fret, for His presence is here;<\/p>\n<p>His timelessness, His all importance, will keep me in balance.<\/p>\n<p>He prepares refreshment and renewal in the midst of my activity<\/p>\n<p>By annointing my mind with His oils of tranquility;<\/p>\n<p>My cup of joyous energy overflows.<\/p>\n<p>Surely harmony and effectiveness shall be the fruits of my hours,<\/p>\n<p>For I shall walk in the pace of my Lord, and dwell in his house for ever.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sunday, the 25th, Rev.
