Bach<br \/>\nGathering and Announcements<br \/>\nPeace<br \/>\nIntroit: Ave Verum Mozart<br \/>\nCall to Worship<br \/>\nPsalm 91\u00a0 page 810 (no musical response)<\/p>\n<p>*Hymn\u00a0 117 \u201cO God, Our\u00a0 Help in Ages Past\u201d<\/p>\n<p>A Prayer After the Earthquake in Haiti\u00a0 (responsively)<br \/>\n<strong>Lord, A month has passed since the earthquake in Haiti.\u00a0 We realize that the ground beneath our feet is not as solid as we had imagined.<\/strong><br \/>\nAs the things we have built crumble about us, we know too well how small we truly are on this ever-changing, ever-moving planet we call home.<br \/>\n<strong>Yet you have promised never to forget us.\u00a0 Lord, comfort the people of Haiti.\u00a0 Be their rock when the earth refuses to stand still, and shelter them under your wings when homes no longer exist.<\/strong><br \/>\nEmbrace in your arms those who have died.\u00a0 Console the hearts of those who mourn, and ease the pain of the wounded.<br \/>\n<strong>Pierce our hearts with compassion, we who watch from afar.
