*Hymn: # 68 “When in Our Music God Is Glorified” (2 Sam.)
Almighty God, we confess that we are often swept up in the tide of our generation. We have failed in our calling to be your holy people, a people set apart for your divine purpose. We live more in apathy born of fatalism than in passion born of hope. We are moved more by private ambition than by social justice. We dream more of privilege and benefits than of serice and sacrifice. We try to speak in your name without relinquishing our glories, without nourishing our souls, without relying wholly on your grace. Forgive us, revive us, and reshape us in your image. Amen Lydia s. Martinez

Concerns and Prayers
O eternal God, in whose appointment our life stands, and who committed our work to us, we commit our cares to you. We thank you that we are your children, and that you have assured us that, while we ae intent upon your will, you will heed our wants. Fill us with that compassion for others’ troubles which comes from forgetfulness of our own; with the charity of those who know their own unworthiness; and with the glad hope of the children of eternity. And to you, the Beginning and the End, Lord of the living, Refuge of the dying, be thanks and praise for ever. Amen James Martineau
Offering *Hymn 95
Prayer of Dedication:
All things come of thee, O Lord, and of thine own have we given thee. AMEN
*Closing Hymn: #108 “God Hath Spoken by the Prophets”
God be in our heads, and in our understanding.
God be in our eyes, and in our looking.
God be in our mouths, and in our speaking.
God be in our hearts, and in our thinking.
God be at our ends, and at our departing. AMEN
